Abstract The paper first outlines the Non-Minimum State Space (NMSS) Approach to Proportional-Integral-Plus (PIP) control system design, on which the TDC program package is based. It then describes the main features of program and illustrates its use with an example which compares PIP designs based on δ and z 1 operator models of a non-minimum phase second order system
